Giacomo Cappellin

Biography

Born in Venice in 1887 where he died in 1968. He started his activities as an art dealer with an outlet first in Venice and later in Milan. The firm of Cappelin Venini & Co. Was established in 1921 from his association with Paolo Venini but due to the following break up with Vittorio Zecchin it was wound down in 1925. He then established the firm MVM Cappellin & Co., that went bankrupt in 1932. In the late 30s he moved to Paris where he opened a laboratory manufactoring small perfume bottles
