Crudo

Kind of glass in which the fusion step is projected not to reach the optimus point. This leads to a lack of homogeneousness of the molten mass that has inside it air bubbles made of slightly different colours with irregularities, that reminds "pulegoso" glass, but without having the latter's sponge-like appearance. Made by Napoleone Martinuzzi in his furnace, it was used to execute mostly red vases having plastic shapes.
