Bronzino
Bronzino

Also called “malmoro” or “marver”.
This is a flat, cast steel plate polished on one side, used for rolling the pea in order to produce and evenly rounded parison with a surface which has been cooled enough to give a resistance to the blowing action. Before steel plates became available, a bronze plate was used.
