Stampo a fermo

Non-circular plant mold. The glass is then blown into the mold without the possibility to rotate it as in the round mold, with this system the surface appears less smooth and as hammered.

This inconvenience can be partially overcome by working, if the shape permits, with molds open at the top and slightly flared, so that the rotary movement is replaced, during the blowing process, with a short and rapid vertical movement.
