Diego Bottacin was born in 1971 and graduated from the Liceo Artistico di Venezia.
He had become familiar with glass working in 2002 and opened his own studio on the Island of Murano in 2003.
Diego uses the classical lamp working technique for his creation of pearls and rings. He has participated in various conventions and demonstrations especially in the United States, he has collaborated and currently collaborates with internationally famous glass masters such as Lucio Bubacco , and Cesare Toffolo .
The final creation and result of the necklaces and jewels is not Diego’s priority, but it’s exalting each and every singular pearl and ring.

Je vais passer quelques jours à Venise du 14 au 20 septembre. Je travaille le verre et j’aurais dû faire le stage il y a 3 ans avec l’association des perliers, mais je n’ai pas pu venir et je le regrette !
Serait il possible de passer vous voir à votre atelier et pourriez vous me dire où je peux acheter des baguette de verre ?
J’espère que vous lirez ce message, et que j’aurais l’occasion de vous rencontrer. (Je pense vous avoir vu un jour au salon du Bijorka il y a 3 ans, mais il y avait beaucoup de monde, et je n’ai pas parlé avec vous).
