Pablo Picasso

Born in Malaga in 1881, he died in Mougins in 1973.
Painter, graphic artist, sculpture and ceramic artist, he started his artistic career in 1902 in Barcelona (Spain). He went to Paris in 1904 where he met Max Jacob, who would became his patron.


From 1948 to 1970 he worked at Atelier de Madoura making ceramics.
From 1954 to 1960 he worked as designer for Fucina Degli Angeli , producing things such as Centauri , Portatrice D'Acqua , Burleschi (1955), and Condor (1965).
Most of the Murano glass creations by Picasso were made by Egidio Costantini.
