Founded in 1862 by the religious Vincenzo Zanetti , the Scuola Abate Zanetti is today the only official institute for learning Murano glass art.
It can boast the collaboration of all the most recognized artists and numerous designers who have intervened over time to bring innovation and value to the world of glass art.
Anyone can participate in the various courses that still take place in the historic venue in Murano.

My husband Tim, and I collaborated with him for some 10 years around 2002-2012 to custom make many items – flowers, beads, seashells for jewelry. I lost contact with him and would like to make contact again. He might remember me as “Linda from America” and playfully ask me to not speak English as it ‘hurt his ears’.
