The fall exhibition "Venini: Light 1921-1985," curated by Marino Barovier,is dedicated to an in-depth study of the Venini glassworks' activity in the field of lighting.
A relevant area of Murano glass production is in fact represented by lighting for both domestic use and large public and private environments, from ministerial buildings to post offices, from theaters to hotels.
In particular, the Venini glassworks has distinguished itself with significant results in this sector as well, thanks to its capacity for constant updating and its openness to the world of design, aspects that have made it a point of reference for the most important architects. both nationally and internationally.

A careful selection of objects designed by the various designers who have collaborated with the furnace or by the technical department of the glassworks itself will thus be presented, illustrating how the theme of light has been addressed in the various decades, in a chronological period from 1921 to 1985.
