Luciano Gaspari designed these pinnacles using his favorite technique called sommerso, which gave them a sleek, elegant shape and some really striking thread-like canes for a graphic punch.
They were shown off at the 30th Biennale in 1960 and are some of his most famous and beloved designs.
He also came up with a version that has a chunky, dome-shaped base.
