Born in Venice in 1924.
Working as apprentice engraver in his uncle Romero Ongaro workshop, at the same time he attended the Venice Institute of Art. In 1948 he presented the "Mani artigiane" vase at the Venice Biennale.
When his uncle died - 1949 - he carried on his activity and participated in the 1950 and 1952 Biennales exhibiting both self - made and glasswork - made operas.
He opened his own workshop in 1953 and worked for the Salviati & Co. And Pauly & Co. Firms. He also participated in the 1962 and 1968 Biennales presenting objects designed by Mirko Casaril.
He stopped his activities in 1990 and passed away in 2000
