Riccardo Todesco

Riccardo, born in 1997, is a young Venetian artist, active in glassmaking since 2020. 
He inherited a passion for Murano glass from his paternal grandfather, a legacy that deeply influences his work. 
Todesco pursued an academic education in Cultural Heritage and Business Administration, earning degrees in both disciplines. 
This education fueled his entrepreneurial spirit, which led to the founding of Riccardo Todesco Lab. 
Located on the island of Murano, his company specializes in the production of glass objects using the technique of glass fusion - vetrofusione, perfecting and experimenting with new solutions always within the framework of the rich tradition of local craftsmanship. 
In September 2024, he participated with fair success in Venice Glass Week at the prestigious Istituto Veneto di Scienze, Lettere ed Arti c/o Palazzo Loredan. We report a couple of shots of the exhibition.
