Painter, born in Bologna on February 21, 1902.
Trained in the Bolognese environment, studying at the Academy of Fine Arts in 1927.

In 1930, having won the chair of drawn figure, S. moved to Venice where he taught first at the artistic high school, then at the Academy, of which he was also director from 1950 to 1956. And right in Venice, alongside the serious and powerful sense of his plastic constructions, which however does not exclude an essential intimistic vision, gives rise to the other characteristic element of his research, a cultured and refined chromatic sensitivity.
In 1954 he exhibited his Scottish cockerel creation made by Archimede Seguso in his furnace in Rome at the Mostra internazionale del vetro d’arte di Murano.

Saetti died in 1984
