Son of Guglielmo, he was born in Murano in 1931.

Since he was a child he was fascinated by sculpture, which he would later execute in glass. He joined the firm in 1952 and dedicated himself exclusively to experimental work, breaking proper tradition.

In 1968 he exhibited for the first time at the galleria Alfieri in Venice.

1970 Exhibited his sculptures in the “glass” section of the Biennale of Venice.

1980 I Solo exhibition a Ca’ Pesaro, Modern art museum of Venice.

In 1984 he designed the glass model for the Ponte Veneziano dell'Accademia (Accademia Bridge) for the Expo World Exhibition in Tsukuba.

In 1986 he exhibited sculptures in the “Space” and sculpture all’aperto sections of the Venice Biennale. He is currently not retired.
