The technique of blown glass dates back to the 2nd century BC C.
Previously, that is by wrapping an incandescent glass thread around an friable earthy core, smoothing and compacting the thread thrown in a spiral, decorating the finished object and then, once the work is completed, eliminating from the inside of the friable core.

The blowing technique implies the need to fix a metal cane to the object and therefore the mano volante technique. This technique leads the masters to a more in-depth research on the molds and their use.
