Born in Milan in 1913 where he died in 1988. After having studied at the Brera Academy of Fine Arts and at the Higher School of Applied Art, he joined the artists of the "Gruppo Novecento". In 1940 he presented his works at the Triennale in Milan and designed a series of objects for S.A.L.I.R.'s, engraved by Franz Pelzel. In 1991 the Victoria and Albert Museum in London held a retrospective exhibition of his work.
