It is a decoration applied ( a caldo ) to the main item represented by a wide glass string, a sort of ring. The morrisa can be smooth or be decorated with the borselle so to create a sort of "crochet".

The morisa as well as in the shape of a ring can be applied to the sides of a leaf of a chandelier, or on the sides of a vase.
