Lucio Fontana

Born in Rosario de Santa Fe' (Argentina) in 1899, he died in 1968 in Comabbio (Varese, Italy).
He atttended the Brera Academy in Milan, during the 30s he got in touch with lombardic abstract artists and with the international "Abstract - Creation" movement.
Lucio started as a ceramic artist in Albisola (Savona, Italy).
In 1946 he concentrated on spatialist works which became his peculiarity.
He worked for Fucina degli Angeli and made many "Concetto Spaziale" objects.
