Venice seen from space

Venice seen from space

Venice and its channels seen from above the sky, but also Italy at night. Deserts, auroras, starry skies and thunderstorms.

Staying on the ISS allows to enjoy some of the best views ever admired by man.

Everything seems fickle, inconsistent, and at the same time irresistibly wonderful.

These are just some of the spectacular photos that astronauts Tim Peake, Tim Kopra and Jeffrey William have taken on board the International Space Station, ISS during Expedition 47.

The ISS turns 17 this year and to date it has not only given excellent results in scientific experiments, but also spectacular views of the planet Earth, around which it orbited more than 100 thousand times.
