Stopper for Wine Bottles, Green and Drop Shape - Murano Glass
This object is entirely handmade in the island of Murano, Venice.
The technique used to make these wonderful caps is called filigrana. It consists of merging glass rods of different colors together and working them in such a way as to obtain a finished product of the desired shape.
In this case the rods are rotated and are cut to give them this beautiful effect.
The glass is melted together with the certified steel structure for food use.
